Did Jesus walk on water
Because He couldn't swim?
Or was He tryin'
To show us something about Him?
When the disciples saw Him
Their hearts were filled with fear
but Jesus said, "Be of good cheer
It is I, be not afraid."

Now Peter went to join Him
Just to try it for himself
But soon he saw the wind and waves around Him
Peter started sinking
Because he was afraid
He looked on circumstances
Instead of on the Lord

Quickly Jesus caught him
With a mighty hand
But He said, "You of little faith
Why did you doubt?"
Climbing back into the boat
The wind grew quickly still
Each one of us then begain to shout
"Truly You are the Son of God!"
