Many folk are hurting, people in despair
In distress, their lives a mess
And no-one seems to care
Searching for a hero,longing for a friend

Aft the earth will know His worth
The scriptures make it clear
There will be no sufffing
there will be no pain
There will be such joy to see
When Jesus comes again
For the tired and weary
Help is near at hand
Start to pray and ask today
For God to touch this land
Waiting for the moment
Ready as foretold
Through the storm, He will transform
To give new life for old

Jesus Christ is real
He'll return as millions yearn
His wonders to reveal
Multitudes will worship
Falling to the ground
On their knees, they'll long to please
As Glory shines around
