Why should the darkness of this world
Have the power of children of light
Why should we run when confronted by lies
Why should we take it in our stride
Is what we believe true or false
Should we stand or should we fall
As for me, my knees will bow
To the Son of God
We've all got choices to make
We've all got chances to take
So make up your mind
To stand up for what you believe
Take up your helmet shield and sword
And stand strong in the Lord
Tighten your holy belt of truth
In the light of His word

What is wrong and what is right
Deception spawned by the father of lies
His seed is planted when you turn off the light
Does what you believe make you stand up and fight
Or do you stumble in the dark of night
As for me my knees will bow
