There's a lot of different things that a man can do that
He'll wish he'd never done
Flyin down the road tryin to catch up to nothin all in the
Name of fun
Well the faster you live the faster you die it's a proven
Tho unwritten law the harder you run the harder it is to catch you
When you take the fall
Nut there's a light at the end of the tunnel and you can
Still have a shot to win if you just stop runnin long
Enough to let the savior in let the savior in
I had a friend with a darkened past and a heart as black as coal
But Jesus touched that wayward son and He
Turned that coal to gold
Jesus met him on his knees and set the captive free and
Said son come ride with me the son of God the holy
Spirit and a new found liberty

My friend has gone on to be with Jesus I know this to be true
For God's promise is written in the bible and you can have it too
If you call he'll answer he's always there and you don't
Have to wait in line you're just a heartbeat away from
The devil's door and you're runnin out of time
