Glimpses of Glory - Soul Survivor

With Glimpses of Glory, Soul Survivor has finally matured into a true worship experience for everyone, not only the youth. I always considered Soul Survivor an alternative type worship for kids, but this year's offering is a genuine worship experience. It features Tim Hughes Martyn Layzell, Matt Redman, Phatfish and David Gate & Heat. My prediction for 2003 is that Glimpses of Glory will be one of this years favorites.

From the liner notes: "In the summer of 2002 we got together with some friends to meet with God. Before we got there our prayer was the prayer of Moses in Exodus 33: 'Lord, now show us Your Glory'. As we gathered in His name and worshipped Him our prayers were answered. In His mercy He gave us glimpses of His Glory. It was wonderful. Our hearts sang because of His character and his deeds. These are moments that will live with us forever. We went to the mountaintop and we met the King. He told us we could not stay there but He wanted us back in the valley. It is amazing on the mountaintop; the views are breathtaking, the experience is exciting. However, things don't grow on the mountaintops, they grow in the valley.
