The Churches Convention Trust anticipates the closure of more than 1,000 churches in the next decade. Commenting on this news, The Times, in its leader column, calls the UK ‘a country whose traditional faith is slowly retreating into history’. Does this mark the end of our historic faith, or is God doing a fresh new thing? What is God saying to the church in the 21st century?
