Apostolic Prayers 2 Let Us Pray - Dwayne Roberts, Misty Edwards, Juli

This CD captures the heart cry of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. Our prayer room hosts many different people with many different prayers for our city as well as cities all over the world. But these prayers are the predominate cry that goes forth day and night in Kansas City.

As we pray and sing, we hope that you will experience a lot of what we feel and do as intercessory missionaries. For those who have heard the first version of Apostolic Prayers, you will note that the Eph. 1 and Eph. 3 prayers are repeated on this second version. The reason for this is that these two prayers are foundational to the pursuit of a life in God.

Prayer # 1 :
Eph 1:16-19 is a prayer for the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus-We must never stop praying this prayer. We must wait to experience the depths of Jesus and continue to pursue an ever-increasing revelation of the Bridegroom.

Prayer # 2 :
Eph 3:14-21 is a prayer that we would be overwhelmed with a love that will totally transform us. We must continually wash our hearts with the reality of God's love and passion for us.

Prayer # 3 :
Acts 2:17 (Joel 2:28-29) is asking that the church walk in a greater release of the prophetic which was prophesied by Joel for this generation.

Prayer # 4 :
Isaiah 61:1-2 is a prayer for apostolic power on the preaching of the word of God. We are asking for the anointing that was on Charles Finney. George Whitfield and John Wesley to once again be on the preaching of the Word.

Prayer # 5 :
Rev 22:17 is a dry that will be heard around the nations, welcoming the 2nd coming of Jesus. The church that is lovesick will be found longing for His return.

Prayer # 6 :
Acts 19:11-12 is a prayer for the anointing of miracles on the church today and that we would walk with power in our hands.
